The hotel was located in the old town, but it was great that we were picked up just a 2-3 minute walk away. It had been a while since my last Ha Long Bay cruise, but the tour was better than before. Lunch on the boat wasn't very time-consuming, so we couldn't really eat at a leisurely pace, but a lot of dishes were brought out. The afternoon menu said there would be sweets and fruit, but it was mostly fruit. Our guide, Ken, was perfect.

It was very comfortable experience and they made a stop at a Silk factory was interesting. I enjoyed it and its recommended. They also supply a bottle of water.
