Our guide that called himself Happy was very joyful, helpful and also knowledgeable in regards with the Ha Long Bay history . Should be mentioned some things that was really unpredictable and annoying. When we arrived to the Bay by our bus it was declared by our guide that to bring water in plastic bottles is restricted by Vietnamese authorities. So we were forced to buy the can of regular water on the boat for 35,000 VDN each. I guess the tour organizers supposed to inform about this issue, so the participants could be prepared with non plastic bottles with water, especially for the hot weather that they'll meet at the Bay.

The trip went smoothly and I arrived at my destination about 3 hours after I was picked up. We stopped once, so that helped with getting to Hanoi quicker. No complaints!

Saw some wonderful sights with the highlight being the Surprise Cave. Quite a full day of touring but made so much easier with the enthusiasm and dedication of Chuong, our tour guide. He makes a difference to the tour experience.


