We had a fantastic day tour with George! He picked us up promptly at our hotel (Lyttos Beach in Analipsi) and drove us along the beautiful north coast of Crete. Along the way, he told us all about the area, so we not only saw a lot but also learned a lot. Our first stop was at the impressive Kourtaliotiko Gorge, where we enjoyed a typical Greek coffee together – a wonderfully authentic moment. Then George took us to the unique Preveli Beach, with its palm trees and the river flowing into the sea. A beautiful piece of nature that we will never forget. When we got hungry, George took us to a small local restaurant where we had a fantastic meal, away from the mass tourism. On the way back, we drove along the north coast again and enjoyed a beautiful scenic drive. Everything was perfectly taken care of, and George made us feel welcome and relaxed the entire day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Crete.

A very beautiful and interesting trip! The gorge was truly sensational, especially the swim in the waterfalls – ice-cold and extremely refreshing! Water shoes are a good idea, though. The descent is a bit strenuous and probably not suitable for small children, people with disabilities, or older people who aren't as fit as they seem. You don't have to do this part of the trip, but you'll miss out on a very special part. The subsequent drive to the beaches is short, and you can then relax on one of the beautiful beaches. However, it could have been an hour or two longer. The guide, Kostas, was very friendly, helpful, and provided us with interesting information;) The driver was also very attentive and drove us safely through the mountains. Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time with George. We drove through the mountains, via olive groves and vineyards to Knossos Palace. George introduced us to a guide for the Palace, Maria, who was excellent. Throughout the tour George informed us of everything from how olive oil is made to the occupations by the Venetians and Turks. The Cathedral of St Minas was utterly spectacular and after visiting the Castello George showed us some restaurants with a view that also served delicious food. A thoroughly enjoyable day.


