The whole tour is very smooth as we had a very small group. Tour guide Alex has tried his best to let us go around while the weather is unfortunately rainy and foggy. The journey is pleasant and despite the weather factor, I’ll recommend the service from the agency especially if you are a first timer to the kurobe alpine. Lastly, many thanks to the support team behind the scene, they contacted me immediately when the original date I booked got cancelled, they managed to form another group on the next day and kept me informed timely. Overall a good experience and I’ll definitely come back again.

The overall itinerary was somewhat rushed due to Japanese driver service time regulations. The Takayama leg of the trip was particularly tight, mainly because completing a meal and a full visit to the Takayama Jinya (traditional Japanese houses) within two hours was quite strenuous. Two hours was more than enough for the Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri village. The tour guide was very professional and nice, and his explanations were quite interesting. The group members came from all over the world, with mainland Chinese tourists making up about 10%, making it a very international team.

This trip was exceptionally well-planned. Every detail, from departure to return, was meticulously arranged, and the pace of the activities was perfectly controlled, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty and culture of Shirakawa-go. The tour leader was extremely professional and polite, attentively attending to the needs of each traveler, patiently answering questions, and providing helpful information and thoughtful tips throughout the trip, making the entire journey smoother and more reassuring. I will recommend this travel agency and tour leader to my friends, and I would definitely participate in their other tours again if given the opportunity.
