This was a wonderful hike. The guide, Samy, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his home area. We walked through his village near the end of the excursion. Samy explained the uses of the parts of the tea plant. There was a lot more to see. Plenty of evidence of wild animals - porcupines, elephants, bison (guar). We saw deer and a sambar. He also showed many herbs and fruits: tea tree, lemon grass, mint, passion fruit, orange, lemon, coffee, pepper. All in all, it was a highly enjoyable and very informative day.

We had a fantastic jeep safari with our wonderful guide and driver - Satheesh. He was kind to stop whenever we wanted to take photos or look around. Pleasant walk down through the tea plantations to a waterfall. Roger caves were okay but a bit busy. Enjoyed the forest walk to them. A tasty lunch at a smart hotel. The real highlight was seeing a heard of elephants in the early evening at the river. Had to wait 3.5 hours to see them but it was worth it.

I went on a business trip for a couple of days, and the signal was stable and the internet was always working. Honestly, I've never felt as comfortable abroad as I do at home. Great experience with our knowledgeable guide, Raja. Thorough information on the tea plantation and harvesting process. A fun and challenging hike. Great tea and snacks provided along the hike. And a traditional Indian pack lunch really topped off the experience.

Mori explained everything to us exceptionally well. The walk through the tea gardens was extremely informative and very pleasant in the cool breeze. Mori surprised us with a small picnic along the way and proved to be remarkably knowledgeable about the various processes involved in tea production. Overall, a fantastic experience, hard to believe for the price! At the end, we tasted and bought some tea. There was no pressure to do so, though. A wonderful experience.


