After seeing so many olive groves we were excited to have a chance to explore one. The guide walked us through the grove and explained the differences among the trees and how each are cared for. We had lots of questions and we she was really good at answering them. We then tried 3 different olive oils - I’ve never paid attention to the differences before but I definitely have my favorites now! They don’t have a shop on site but they did offer to sell us our favorites for much cheaper than we could get at home! Our tour included the meal. The tour started at 9:30 and was over by 11:30 or 12. The lunch was not on site but rather in town and didn’t start until at least an hour later. We originally thought we’d be done by 1 rather than starting lunch at 1 so we had to skip the meal and head on to our next destination. I hate we had to miss it. The menu looked great.

The mixed reviews and the high price made me unsure about doing this, but it turned out to be the highlight of my holiday. Sipping a mint tea before going into the changing rooms set the scene. The staff were so friendly (I was glad I spoke some Spanish though) and explained everything and the order to experience the different baths. It was sooo relaxing. Everyone was quiet, Moorish music played in the background and the lighting was dim. It felt like I had gone back in time. I didn't feel rushed and there weren't many other people in there at the same time, I often had whichever bath I was in all to myself as we all rotated around. When it was time for my massage, they came and whispered quietly to follow them. Some people were having treatments behind muslin curtains next to the main, warm pool, but I was taken upstairs to a private room. They asked how I wanted the massage and it was wonderfully strong, just how I like it. I got the last space on the website for the €43 15 minute massage booking 2 days in advance, so do book ahead. Thoroughly recommend the experience!

Excellent performance, superb dancing and exceptional guitar playing. Was concerned it was a theatre style performance but that made for better viewing. Was totally in awe of the performers individual skills. Loved it


