Reviews: Jerez: Yeguada de la Cartuja Carthusian Horses Tour
Guest User2026-04-05
Highly recommended – suitable for all ages and even for those with limited mobility. Absolutely worthwhile and not a tourist trap, but rather a culturally enriching experience with great value – even for those not particularly interested in horses. Please bring your own drinks, as there's no café or kiosk on site, which we personally found great – it is, after all, a real stud farm. Restrooms are available and very clean. The garden is also worth seeing.

The guide was incredibly friendly and passionate about her work. She captivated a large group with just the right amount of information about the winery and shared insights into Jerez and its wines. I highly recommend it!

The show was wonderful and very enjoyable. The artists gave it all despite the almost empty room. But the Guide made a really bad job. We had a ticket for 8:30, and at the very last minute, we found out that the show was starting at 7:30. We got a phone call after 7 o'clock saying they were about to start. This was very, very uncomfortable. And unacceptable.

It was lovely to watch the horses training. Unfortunately, the show is only performed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Keep this in mind when booking.
