Reviews: From Jerusalem: Half-Day Bethlehem Guided Tour
Guest User2026-10-23
The tour itself was good, but the logistics could be improved. I was picked up at 1:15 PM, even though the area with the star marking the birthplace of Jesus at the Church of the Nativity was only open from 1 to 2 PM. We arrived at 1:54 PM and had to rush. We made it, but the tour should start earlier. The price is quite high considering the available alternatives. However, the guide was great, and since I was the only participant, we had a nice connection. Our belongings were only checked when leaving, which I found unusual. At the end, we visited a religious handicraft shop, but unfortunately, I couldn't see the workers crafting anything. On the bright side, souvenir prices were much better than in Jerusalem. If there aren't enough participants, the company may arrange a taxi to Bethlehem, where a local guide takes over. Overall, I recommend the tour, but the timing and organization need improvement.

Reviews: From Jerusalem: Bethlehem, Jericho & Qasr al-Yahud
Guest User2026-10-29
Be aware that you don’t go in to Jericho proper, the tour was also a quite a bit shorter than I expected but it was still good. Very nice, helpful guides as well, particularly when a member of our party was taken ill. I think the circa $120 price tag was a little steep though, particularly as lunch is not included and you are heavily encouraged to purchase souvenirs from craft shops in Bethlehem. In fact I think we spent longer in the craft shop than at each of the churches. Overall good, but I think there are some aspects of the tour that could definitely be improved. Thank you!

Reviews: Caesarea, Haifa & Akko Day Trip from Jerusalem
Guest User2026-10-14
Eyal was a great guide and driver. He explained the history of Caesarea, Akko, and the Bahai Gardens on the tour. We saw some lovely historical sites and great views of the ocean in Akko. We also stopped by the beach by the Roman Aqueducts for 15 mins. We spent adequate amount of time at all the sites. FYI, Rosh Hanikrah is closed at the moment, so the image from the tour cover photo will not be seen on the tour. The view of the Bahai Gardens is from the top, entrance to the gardens would be needed to be booked directly as a tour with the Bahai Gardens management. They stop at a shwarma restaurant in Akko on the tour - not kosher if that is an issue for you, you will need to bring your own food. We were picked up in a taxi from Jerusalem ordered by the tour group and taken to Tel Aviv where the tour started. We were then sent home to Jerusalem by train. If public transport confuses you, I would book this tour from Tel Aviv.
