Reviews: Guided Full-Day Tour to Kazbegi Gudauri Ananuri from Tbilisi

We had a wonderful tour to Kazbegi with several stops, including the Ananuri Fortress and the Georgian-Russian Friendship Monument in Gudauri. Our guide, Nika Z, explained everything thoroughly and competently, was very friendly, and always kept an eye on the group. Even when there were language difficulties, he explained everything to the participants as best he could. Furthermore, the driver drove very carefully, especially by Georgian standards. Anyone planning a day trip from Tbilisi will be very happy with this tour. I do have one suggestion for improvement: The restaurant where we had our lunch break was unfortunately far too overpriced for its mediocre quality, and the ambiance didn't really match the rest of the tour. If this is improved, it will be a great all-around package with nothing to complain about.

We had a guide, Koba, and a driver, Vitkho, both professionals. The tour is a 100 out of 10. The route is well thought out, the group is small, and there's plenty of time at each stop. The highlight of this tour is the Truso Gorge, with beautiful views, captivating stories, and anecdotes from Koba. Everything was simply superb. I highly recommend it.

We booked quickly. However, the wait for confirmation took a couple of hours; we had to wait outside for it to be confirmed. On the plus side, it's cheaper than staying there.
