This snorkeling trip was amazing! As this was my first-time snorkeling, I was a little nervous. The captain and first mate were great about explaining step by step what we needed to do. They were extremely safety oriented and made sure everyone was taken care of. Everything was provided (vest, fins, mask, and noodles for floating) except the snorkel, which you could purchase from $15 to $30 dollars. We went about 3 miles off the John Pennecamp coral reef. It only took about 5 minutes to get the hang of breathing and using the snorkel. I have to say it was the most beautiful and relaxing time! It was a perfect day for Snorkeling as we saw so many different types and colors of fish!! The hour we had flew by, but it was the perfect amount of time. Thank you for making the last day of our vacation a memorable one!★

10 stars! I traveled with my friend and my 15 year old niece. It was the highlight of our trip to the keys! We day nurse shark, manatee, and barracuda along with other birds and crabs. But even if we didn’t see all of the wildlife it was still such a great time. Cannot recommend our guide Brianna more, she was amazing! ★

We had a wonderful time snorkeling. The boat was crowded with divers and their gear but there were six of us snorkels. Horseshoe Reef was max 15 feet so we saw as many fish and coral as the divers. Some of us opted to free dive while I grabbed a water noodle for security to stay afloat. Swimming among the reef fish was magical. It is another world under the sea and to truly appreciate the glory of the Keys, you have to get in the water and explore.★

Wow, what a fabulous and fun experience! Captain Brad, Nate and Murphy provided both an educational, funny and entertaining experience. They had us laughing the entire time. We took our 9 and 11 year old daughters and they were so good with our girls helping them gear up and understand how to use the equipment. We saw dolphins on the boat ride out and plenty of varieties and sea life during the snorkeling. If you’re looking for a reputable crew that will both educate and entertain, look no further. Book it, you won’t regret this experience!★

Overall it was a good experience for the family and was thrilling at times when the Capt. could safely go full throttle. The ‘tour’ element wasn’t as good as we were hoping mainly because we were certain if said you would go down to South Beach and the guide even said at the start we’ll see the long white sandy beaches of Miami Beach but the furthest we went was to Star Island which is practically no further than the Port of Miami area which must be amazing when there are cruise ships in port but sadly for us there was non. The guide however was knowledgeable, fun and engaging.
Things to be mindful of. They play the music loud. When I say loud I mean over 100 decibels for more than 20 minutes which is actually considered dangerous for human hearing. I’m not being a prude - just stating a fact. I do however a job which is dependent on passing annual hearing tests so I’m probably more acute to things like this than others. Seat belts are provided and despite the extensive waivers you are made to sign there wasn’t much of a safety brief but it did feel safe and secure at all times which was good.
And a plea to the ladies. Please tie your hair up! The rows of seats are close together and for the whole trip I had a lady’s hair hitting me on the face. It was braided Afro hair whipped the side of my face hard at times. This sadly did impact of my personal experience.
It’s a shame Bayside parking is horrendously priced as you can only really access this area by car if you are staying outside downtown but that obviously has nothing to do with the businesses here - just something else you have to factor into your budget (it was $10 an hour).
