The cave tour with Shekhinah Tours, which we booked through my shore excursions, was one of the absolute highlights of our stay on Bonaire. The tour was superbly organized from beginning to end, varied, and impressive. Our guide, Mar, did an outstanding job. His local knowledge, calm demeanor, and enthusiasm for the caves were palpable at all times. He explained things clearly, took time for questions, and managed to create a relaxed, safe, and simultaneously fascinating atmosphere. You immediately notice that he isn't just going through the motions, but does his work with genuine passion. And after I even left my cell phone in his car and it was delivered directly to the AIDA within 20 minutes of contacting him, you realize that people are still valued here. The selected caves were impressive, some surprising, and far removed from mass tourism (there were four of us on this tour). It was the perfect blend of adventure, nature experience, and background information. Anyone who wants to experience more on Bonaire than just the well-known spots should definitely take this cave tour. Shekhinah Tours, and Mar in particular, stand for quality, authenticity, and a truly memorable experience. I would book with them again anytime.
