Good afternoon. I bought this for a trip to Malaysia. The connection is fantastic, and the 50GB was easily enough for 14 days, including using the GPS and sharing videos and photos, of which there were a lot!★

I loaded a data-only Trip.com eSim prior to leaving Australia and used it during a 5 day business trip to Singapore. As promised it did not activate until I had landed and logged onto the local network. Everyone uses WhatsApp in Asia so voice comms were easy. A great way to avoid searching for local SIM cards, especially if you're traveling through several nearby countries. Small GB packages are enough for navigating the city, moving freely, and communicating. I had just stepped out of Kuala Lumpur airport, hit by a wave of heat, but my phone had no signal.
I remembered the eSIM I'd hastily bought before leaving—it only cost a few dozen ringgit, installation took five minutes, and it was a 0.5GB daily Malaysian data package. To be honest, I was a little unsure: was it reliable? After all, it didn't require a SIM card, and I couldn't see or touch it.
