We opted for the guided tour and were really glad we did. It was just us and our guide Jay, who had loads of knowledge about the history of the area including the native tribes. The people in costume added to the enjoyment of the experience and each added their own information and personal anecdotes as we met them. We were impressed by how many buildings were accessible and by how many original artefacts were there to view. It recommended 2hours for the visit - we were there for a good three hours and then visited the cafe for lunch which was delicious. Fabulous day!

This is a super interesting experience, not to be missed. The boat ride through the swamp canals is fun and interesting. Our guide (Alan) knows the waterways and its history and ecology extremely well. He was from there! We stopped along the shore to walk among the cypress groves and learn about craw fishing. We stopped to look at baby alligators, and watch birds. We saw herons, egrets, an eagle, a vulture eating a dead wild boar, and others. We saw an unusual thing too, and inexplicable fire among a few trees. This is a really great tour.

Overall, I am pleased with the data service as I was able to access it without major problems throughout my travels in the US. There would be times however where signal is bad but it might be related to the location I was it. I would definitely get the service again as it was cost effective and smooth.
