Reviews: Guided tour: Timanfaya National Park and La Geria with pick-up

We wanted to book a South Island tour with our tour operator, Jet2, but they never responded to our call!! Now we are glad they didn't! This tour was great. Very informative, the guide was friendly and funny and her English was great. We started at the camel rides, and although my husband and I didn't want a ride, it was an interesting stop. There was a small museum, toilet and gift shop, and we were there for around 20 minutes. Next, we headed to the Timfanaya National Park. Here, we went to the summit where we saw the geothermic experiments and had time to look around the gift shop, get a drink, use the toilets, and take some great photos! After this, our coach driver took us carefully around the national park, and we learned all about the eruptions on Lanzarote. I loved this part and got some more great photos. If you don't like heights, I'd recommend sitting on the left/ drivers side of the bus, as most of the "drops" are on the right!! We had a short stop in a village that was miraculously missed by the lava flow, here we could buy a drink or some lunch. It was a very pretty spot to stop. Then, lastly, it was on to the vineyards at La Geria. Don't be expecting a full wine tasting. You get to taste one, which was delicious. But, this is where the difference in tours lies. As I said at the beginning, we were trying to book the tour through Jet2, but it was twice the price of this tour!!!! Maybe you get a longer wine tasting on the more expensive tours, but we found this to be perfect for us! The time in each stop was long enough to get some great photos, the guide was brilliant and full of knowledge, and we were out for around 5 hours, which I think is great value. I would definitely recommend this tour.

When a group of whales was spotted, the captain steered very carefully and close to them, allowing us to observe them for quite some time. Fantastic!

Fantastic! A very educational activity, a beautiful route to explore the volcanoes. Traveling in the four-wheel-drive bus takes you through areas that are difficult to access otherwise. This is my third time on the island, and it's one of my favorite routes. The guide was also very helpful, and in this case, he was not only professional but also possessed fantastic scientific knowledge—very informative. We enjoyed ourselves and learned a great deal. My congratulations and thanks to Win. Thank you very much.
Reviews: La Palma: Guided Trekking Tour To Cubo de la Galga

It was a very successful day. The trek through the forest was quite pleasant, although it required some effort, as the first part of the trail was uphill. The office provided trekking poles for those interested, which made the trek easier, which pleasantly surprised me. The forest was truly beautiful, especially the giant ferns. The guide was very kind and eager to share her knowledge. It was a truly enjoyable trip.
