This is a beautiful trip. Because of the train strike in Tuscany we traveled from Florence to La Spezia and then boats to three different towns: Porto Venere, Vernazza and Monte Rosso. The boat trip was wonderful, though very hot on top of the boat. But the three towns were such fun. We opted to include the luncheon in our package and went to a lovely seafood restaurant. The lunch was not huge, but the seafood salad was tender and delicious. Our guide for the day, Constantine, was great and took care of us all, leading the way. It was a long day, but Cinque Terre is so beautiful, it was definitely worth it.
