I've traveled to Manila/Dumaguete/Siquijor/Bohol/Panglao/Coron, and El Nido, and never had any connection issues. I also did the expedition from Coron to El Nido and was one of the few with internet access. Excellent value for money (better than the physical SIM card my boyfriend got in the Philippines). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I ordered two eSIM cards. One for me and one for my wife. For some reason, the connection didn't work in China, which was disappointing at first. Then it turned out I needed to enable roaming in the SIM card settings (iPhone 17). And I got a connection in the Philippines. The reception is pretty good, you can even make video calls.


