Reviews: Chincoteague to Assateague Island Kayak Tour see Wild Horses
Guest User2026-09-21
Fantastic! At the launching area, our patient guide, "Hoot", told us details about the trip, demonstrated proper use of the paddles, etc., and got us safely into our kayaks. His knowledge of the environment and wildlife as well as history of the island and his energy and enthusiasm made our trip really fun as we paddled across the Assateague Channel to the smaller waterways. He knew the spots where we were most likely to see the ponies and we sure did! We saw more horses than we could count-- in the marshes, on the waterline and actually wading in the water right alongside our boats! What a terrific experience! We highly recommend this trip and our wonderful guide, "Hoot" !
