Okay, the guide didn't speak French but he was really nice. We saw some beautiful eruptions. Ultimately more impressive than Etna.

Well I guess you have to be a bit lucky that you see the vulcano erupt. It usualy erupts a lot, but we only saw it once. Overall it was a nice trip and worth it.

We arrived in time for sunset. The scenery was magnificent, and we were able to witness some beautiful lava explosions! Be sure to wear good shoes (the climb is steep in places!) and bring a windproof jacket for the viewing area. Thanks to Orlando for his kindness and explanations.


