I took this tour with my girlfriend, our first together, to do something to remember: it was the best choice I could have made. The guide, Giulia, was excellent and helped us especially during the difficult moments we encountered, which we overcame together. Reaching the crater was one of the greatest satisfactions of my life. Thank you.

We can absolutely recommend this tour. I’m usually not a big fan of guided tours and honestly only booked this one because it’s required if you want to hike up the additional 200 meters. I still don’t fully understand why you need a guide, but those are the rules there. I was really surprised by this tour. The group size was fine, although I can imagine it gets much more crowded during peak season. Along the way the guide stopped several times to share interesting information about the volcano and the area. We had an amazing view of the crater with lava flow and explosions. Shortly after, clouds moved in, so we were really lucky with the timing. It was incredibly beautiful. Seeing something like this in real life is just unforgettable. Our guide was very engaged and interested in what he was explaining. You might expect that someone who does this tour so often could get a bored, but that was not the case at all. Overall, a real highlight. Thank you so much for this experience.

Headlamp and helmet provided, multilingual guide who adapts to everyone's pace. Beautiful hike, breathtaking views, splendid sunset view from Sciaca del Fuoco. Highly recommended!

The ship's cafeteria's completely unnecessary music blaring. The sound level of the ship's engine is so loud that you can't really hear/want to hear the music.


