The trip waa great. Our guide Qin was very helpful, patient and extremely hospitable. The longji terracce is something not to miss if you are so do save a day for it. Teh heat can be overbearing in summer to be prepared with lots of energy and water.★

The driver was excellent, arriving early to wait for us at the hotel entrance and providing information about the attractions along the way, which helped us first-time visitors to Guilin avoid many pitfalls. For lunch, I recommend the Xiangbalao Restaurant near the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot; the food was absolutely delicious – bamboo tube chicken, bamboo tube rice, and stuffed tofu were all wonderful!Trip.com picks
