Reviews: Early pickup from second ring road | Stone Forest Scenic Area + Jiuxiang 1-day tour ◆ optional upgrade to new route⁄15 person group reliable pure play

I waited from noon to evening the day before the trip, contacting online customer service several times. However, the tour group staff didn't contact me or mention pick-up. Around 8 PM, I directly complained to online customer service (because the platform's cancellation policy is before 7 PM the day before, which essentially meant I had no choice!). Shortly after the complaint, the tour group staff contacted me via WeChat to confirm pick-up and drop-off at the meeting point. The tour guide was very responsible throughout, explaining a lot about Yunnan and Kunming, and was very patient. Because there were too many tourist attractions and photo spots, the pace was fast, and only the highlights were covered. If you want to spend time taking photos at the attractions, this tour might not be suitable. As for the food, both the presentation and taste need significant improvement.

Reviews: [Pure Fun] One-Day Tour to Kunming Stone Forest Scenic Area + Jiuxiang | Optional Private Car with Professional Transfer
Guest User2026-07-09
One of the most enjoyable trips I've taken was to the Stone Forest, a historical site with breathtaking views among the rocks. The cave itself held surprises, such as a cable car, a boat ride on the river, waterfall views, and the opportunity to explore the cave's interior. The tour leader was incredibly helpful and patient despite our lack of language skills, explaining everything clearly. She also assisted me with non-tour-related matters like phone calls and other things.

Reviews: One-day travel service to Shilin Stone Forest Scenic Area and tea tasting in Kunming, Yunnan, China [Private charter option available]
Guest User2026-08-29
- Joe, who was our tour guide, ensured we had plenty of time to spare. - A car came right in front of our accommodation to pick us up, and dropped us off back in front of the hotel after the tour. I think this is a significant advantage, especially for foreign travelers, as the door-to-door pickup service covers a wider area compared to other tour packages. - The lunch we had at the restaurant recommended was delicious. It was a perfect experience for trying local cuisine. - Shilin was truly magnificent. - Personally, although I couldn't do the Pu'er tea tasting due to scheduling issues, I really appreciated that they didn't mind and dropped us off right back at our accommodation.

Reviews: Kunming Shilin private tour 1-day tour: includes private car pick-up and drop-off, admission ticket, English guide for the attraction

This tour was even better than the description. Our driver was kind and helpful and our guide was outstanding, we would definitely recommend this tour. We did have to pay an additional 25rmb for the bus in the stone Forest but it was well worth it. Absolutely fascinating and spectacular.

Reviews: Kunming Stone Forest & Jiuxiang Cave 1-Day Tour: Immersion in karst landforms
Guest User2026-06-26
So the overall trip was really good. Despite the fact that the guide wasn't speaking English she made sure that we are good. They provided the lunch for all of us. And the view were amazing. The only bad point was the fact that we didn't explore the cave by boat as I saw in some pictures.
