Great choice for a small, less busy and closer to the port tour. Guide was good. Easy to understand and invested in what she was saying. A note: please explain getting to the bus. Explain ship time and local time. I was so stressed out about that.

Overall, the experience could have been better. Unfortunately, our driver did not speak any English at all, which was very disappointing and made communication difficult. At the Chacchoben Mayan Ruin there were also a huge number of mosquitoes, even though we visited at the end of October. I would strongly recommend bringing insect repellent, as we all ended up covered in bites! Finally, the beach stop really should be extended from one hour to two hours. One hour simply isn't enough time to browse the souvenir shops, relax on the beach, and enjoy a drink without feeling rushed. An extra hour would make a big difference and allow everyone to enjoy the experience much more. With better communication, a warning about the mosquitoes, and more time at the beach, this excursion could be much more enjoyable.
