Reviews: Malaysia U Mobile 5G eSIM | Local IP Low Latency | Full AI & TikTok Access | 1-30 Days | Instant QR

I had just stepped out of Kuala Lumpur airport, hit by a wave of heat, but my phone had no signal. I remembered the eSIM I'd hastily bought before leaving—it only cost a few dozen ringgit, installation took five minutes, and it was a 0.5GB daily Malaysian data package. To be honest, I was a little unsure: was it reliable? After all, it didn't require a SIM card, and I couldn't see or touch it. But when I landed and turned on my phone, as soon as it connected to the local network, WeChat buzzed. For the next 24 hours, that 0.5GB made my journey incredibly reassuring: I used Google Maps in Petaling Street to find the most authentic Bak Kut Teh, the navigation was as accurate as a local guide; at Merdeka Square, I looked up the historical building backgrounds on my phone, reading as I walked; I posted on WeChat Moments to let everyone know I arrived safely, and video-chatted with family for a few seconds—those "You just arrived? Great!" moments. The next afternoon, my data ran out, and a notification popped up while I was sitting in a cafe using Wi-Fi to write my travelogue. Looking back, that 0.5GB was perfectly timed. No waste, no anxiety, no hassle—available immediately upon arrival, and used as soon as needed. The hassle of searching for counters, exchanging cards, and storing physical SIM cards at airports is now completely gone. This "invisible" connection actually makes people feel more at ease.

The island fee for Mabul Island is 50 MYR, payable by yourself or by scanning a QR code. It's truly beautiful, filled with flowers and Bajau people selling coconuts. It's not ideal for snorkeling, perhaps due to the presence of overwater bungalows. However, the instructors are very helpful. Overall, it's best to just enjoy the scenery and take photos. I recommend our guide, Chen Kaixin; he's super fun and awesome!
Reviews: Penang Hill Funicular Ticket

A great experience and definitely worth doing when visiting Penang. My biggest tip would be to buy the fast-track ticket — the queues can be very long, especially at weekends and during holidays, and it saved us a huge amount of time. For us, it was absolutely worth the extra cost. The views from the top are fantastic, and I’d recommend allowing a few hours to explore properly. There are lovely walking trails and plenty of wildlife to spot — we saw large squirrels, monkeys and lots of birds. We did the Langur Way Canopy Walk, which was brilliant and very immersive — it's high up and you really feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. We also did the Curtis Crest Treetop Walk, arguably the biggest attraction here and highest viewing platform on Penang Island. It offers unrivalled views of the heritage bungalows of Penang Hill and has information about the history of Penang Hill: why the hill station was built, its colonial past, and the old mansions that were used as holiday homes to escape the heat. Some of these buildings are still in use today as hotels and places to eat. It’s noticeably cooler up on the hill, which makes it even more enjoyable. Overall, I’d definitely recommend spending an afternoon here — we really enjoyed it.

Very convenient! Go to the second floor, collect your tickets, and fill out the Thailand arrival card. Sample forms are available to help you fill it out, and the staff will patiently assist you. Remember to board the boat later, as the large boat will transfer to a smaller one. Try to get a seat towards the back of the first small boat, so you'll be the first one to arrive on the island and avoid long queues for immigration. Get your passport back first, then proceed with immigration.

An excellent tour. It lived up to the description. Guide Fung conducted the tour wonderfully. Special thanks to him for that. We were in a great mood. Thanks to the organizers.

Great trip. Nice cave with bats, great beach, eagles, monkys are very chill and polite. And just gliding through the narrow river passages of mangro forest at full speed is awesome.
