Having her share so much fascinating information made a world of difference compared to exploring on our own. Our tour went well over the scheduled time, but Oksana never rushed us—she was truly dedicated to giving us the best possible experience rather than just checking off itinerary items. To top it off, we were even filmed by a national TV channel at the end of the walk! Long after her work hours ended, she kindly stayed behind to share recommendations for local restaurants, bars, and sights to visit.

It was such a pleasant surprise, and a very successful experience! However, our guide, Alex, might have been a little exasperated, perhaps thinking all Chinese people were too shy 😂 It just so happened that we were two slightly eccentric individuals. Alex was the one giving the talk, and the other three foreigners were the ones actively engaging, while we just quietly followed along. We trekked through mountains and valleys, adding another hiking experience to our journey. It was a significant upgrade from hiking in domestic parks, including Rainbow Mountain, a monastery, and countless churches whose names I can't even remember.
