The itinerary was very relaxing. The guide was engaging and welcoming and made it feel like a big family trip. Ha long bay was breathtaking and the overall experience was excellent. Went on the speedboat, the amazing cave. Also loved lunch. I would definitely book this again.★

For my trip to Hanoi, Vietnam, I purchased a 10-day, 20GB e-SIM. The deciding factor was that it was a China Telecom product, which I had used before. I completed the e-SIM activation in Japan, and while waiting for my checked baggage at Hanoi airport, I switched the SIM, manually set the APN, and after turning airplane mode on and off a couple of times, the connection worked immediately. I was able to maintain a stable connection not only in Hanoi city but also while traveling to Sapa and on the bus during my Ha Long Bay cruise. Incidentally, the smartphone I used was a Sharp AQUOS sense 10. If you are using a Japanese Android smartphone, you will likely need to manually set the APN, so you should familiarize yourself with that procedure, but I was able to use it comfortably in Vietnam.Trip.com Picks
