Shirley was an excellent tour guide. Spoke English fluently and was very kind and welcoming. She picked us up from our hotel on time and gave us a little history about the Panda’s research base, and answered all of my husband’s questions. It was an extremely hot day, so we’re glad to have had door to door pick up service. We spent about 2 hours looking at the pandas and then proceeded to Kuan Zhai alley and the park. We actually spent a bit of time hiding from the heat in cafes Kuan zhai Alley and ended the day with front row seats to a Chinese opera performance. The kids and I really enjoyed the show and the teas and snacks that were provided. Shirley made our day much more comfortable. It’s really worth it for the peace of mind to have a knowledge and friendly guide who can communicate well with you. Honestly, the Panda experience alone is worth having a guide with you. That park is enormous, you could get lost in that park alone without a guide. Thank you for a great experience!
