Reviews: Mindelo Cultural: city tour street art
Guest User2026-09-02
Larissa first took us down Mindelo's Walk of Fame to the harbor. There, she told us about the history of the city, the island, and the country. After visiting one of the island's renowned artists in his studio, she showed us his murals. The first surprise was the tiled murals at the African market. Afterward, we continued to a neighborhood we would never have found on our own. There, we discovered more politically themed murals. Larissa wonderfully explained them, providing the appropriate historical context. Anyone interested in art and/or history should definitely take this tour!
