A really great tour! I was picked up from my hotel on time, after which we explored Mindello. That took about an hour. Then we drove around the island a bit, as described. A cup of tea or coffee at the top with a small rum tasting (included). The tour continued north to Calhau. We had a delicious meal there (not included). The guide was very friendly and informative. Excellent!

Marion does a great job; she is a good guide. She shows you alternative locations you can visit that you wouldn't easily find on your own. She gives good advice on restaurants and bars. An entertaining guide. Highly recommended!

Our guide Diego was lovely. We had wetsuits, which was really nice because the water was chilly. There were a few turtles, but the time spent in the water was short (15-20 minutes). And the boat trip was only 3 minutes since it's right on the beach. But it was very beautiful, I don't regret it at all.

Catia, the lovely cook, and her husband Markus (originally from Germany, musician and there for helping with translation) are offering this really nice half day activity in Mindelo. After meeting them at the Mercado Municipal and buying all the necessary ingredients there and afterwarfs at the fishmarket, we took the public transport for some minutes to their house, where the cooking class takes place on the rooftop terrass. While we were helping with pealing and cutting vegetables, Catia took care of the fish and did the majority of all the work. She explains a lot and it was much fun discussing in a mixture of languages about details. When everything was finished we sat down together and had a really tasty lunch, before Markus accompanied us back eith the bus to the Mercado Municipal. Thank you Catia and Markus and the two friendly Dutch ladies (who have been the other two participants) for the nice experience together!

Danny was the perfect tour guideline. Santo Antao is his home island, he know a lot about its culture and heritage, speaks good English and French an is a very open minded guy with a lot if respect for his clients.

A nicely paced walk with our guide to view nearby historic sites and architectural influences. included meeting with a guitarist who demonstrated Cabo Verdian rhythms while a dancer instructed us on how they dance to each. interactive and fun. if you like to dance take this tour!


