Overall, a wonderful experience, and the guide, Ayoub, was professional, helpful, and friendly. Unfortunately, the pick-up point wasn't the scheduled one, but the guide contacted us in time. The stop to see the argan oil processing was very interesting. It's a shame about the desert location; it's not very nice (just on the roadside). The quad bike ride was very nice, but the camel ride was poor, being short and in a ditch. The dinner was good and in a beautiful location, but the entertainment could be improved. Perhaps the cold mid-February wind affected the dinner; it's better to go in spring.

Brahim lead the perfect desert tour. Absolutely gorgeous, memorable, thoughtful and relaxed. Hicham was NOT an obnoxious tour guide- chill and let the activities speak for themselves. He communicated the day of to ensure our pickup at our out of town hotel. First we stopped at an argan oil farm for tea. I thought this would be a tourist trap, and while there were things for sale we were not pressured to buy. It was just a nice quaint stop. Then a camel ride in a desert valley with snowcapped mountains nearby. They had scarves waiting for us and took pictures the whole time. Then quad riding. Super fun through gorgeous landscape with more photo ops. Finally a Moroccan dinner: soup, bread, tajine, then couscous, serenaded by traditional music. Finally a show around the fire capped off with a fire dancer. I can’t believe this was all included. Felt safe the entire time. Clean bathrooms at every stop. No pressure to spend extra.

We loved this trip - it was a truly special day. We were picked up and dropped off very promptly. However, we thought we had booked a day trip to Ourika valley, but instead we were taken to Imlil valley. Actually, it was a blessing in disguise and we truly loved our trip. The driver was great and polite. While the hiking guide was very friendly, and in the end we were taken to his family home for a yummy lunch. All in all - what a great day we had!


