We visited three spots in Nagano with Masa, our amazing & knowledgeable guide. We tried several skewers, tofu, the soba noodles (a must in Nagano) and tasty gyozas. The tour was both insightful and relaxed, we had a great time. We highly recommend Masa and this tour.

The tour was 100% tailored and adjusted to our needs and preferences. It offered tons of local advice on specialties and attractions in Nagano - far more than we were able to use in our short visit. There was a decidedly non touristic vibe to the entire tour - never a sense that of a standard, canned must-see list. My personal favorites were the visit to the oyaki bakery and the sake brewery, but the entire tour was fun, informative and exciting. The guides - Takuma (the guide) and Katsuki and Soyoka (guides in training) were knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and all spoke excellent English. The tour was well organized and would qualify as one of the best I've ever attended.

It was a great day! Our guide Eriko was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and gave a lot of helpful advice to make this day an unforgettable experience! The tour was very well planned, the schedule was followed flawlessly and we were treated to a wonderful lunch. We saw the impressive temple, learned a lot about sake and finally saw the monkeys! It was the most impressive day of our time in Japan! Thank you for arranging everything so nicely!


