The views from the train and both villages we visited (Annot & Entreveux) were fantastic. We were very lucky that we visited Annot the day before Bastille Day which is when the locals have a Band which leads a re-enactment of Napoleon’s Soldiers firing guns and cannons. Cyril, our guide was very knowledgeable regarding local history and was also very helpful regarding other places to visit for the remainder of our holiday. An overall excellent day.
