The tour is wonderful. But the bus driver's attitude leaves much to be desired. He was grouchy throughout the trip. Not a problem, since it was the guide who communicated with us. However, on the way back, due to a misunderstanding with the guide, he stopped the bus and started quarreling with the guide. We were left bemused in the bus, while tempers flared outside of the bus. Some motorists even resorted to banging on the bus' side, as it was blocking a large part of the road causing chaos outside.★

This was a great tour. It did say that we would be picked up and dropped off at the hotel which was not the case but we were 10 minutes walking from the meet up point. The tour itself was lovely and the tour guide was great and informative. Very beautiful scenery. Would recommend.★

I booked a transfer from Hanoi to Tam Coc. Everything was very conveniently organized: first, a car picks you up at the designated location (usually near your hotel), then you're taken to the train station, where a minibus with other passengers is waiting. Then you're driven to Ninh Binh, where you transfer to another car and are dropped off at your hotel, which is very convenient since you don't have to find anything yourself. You can contact the organizer and driver via WhatsApp.
