The tour was fully booked, so we had to change the date from what we originally wanted, but we received kind support during that time! The reservation was confirmed and we were able to participate on the day, and it was the most fun tour of the trip! The dogs were so cute, and we got to pet them lots after the tour. The sled was faster than we expected, so I think the dogs did a great job. It's a wonderful memory that I'll never forget.

We had a fabulous evening with our guide Christina. She knew where to take us to get away from the lights of the town. We were very fortunate to see a fantastic light show. We stopped at the hut, Christina made a fire while we took more photos and the we drank warm juice, cooked sausages over the fire. Then it was all on to scramble out of the hut as the lights went crazy!!! More photos and sone hot chocolate to keep warm. After we were all satisfied with our photos we were driven back to the central point before returning to our hotel. We had a total of 7 in our group which was enough to chat and enjoy the company but not too many. Christina helped us with suggestions for photos too. Thanks for a fabulous memory building night on our trip to Lapland from Australia.

Although the chances of seeing the aurora were extremely low, we managed to see it twice in different locations. Although we don't speak much English, our guide told us anecdotes about how the aurora dances and how whistling can bring it to you, which was really fun! The hot drinks and cookies were heavenly in the freezing cold of -30°C. Even with outerwear like Canada Goose, it's still really cold, so it's a good idea to rent overalls.


