Reviews: Tokyo Nikko World Heritage Temple + Lake Chuzenji + Kegon Falls + Iroha Road Day Trip
Guest User2026-10-15
A huge thank you to Director Liu for giving us a joyful, relaxing, and rewarding day. His explanations were engaging and informative, providing a wealth of new knowledge. He also allowed ample time for rest along the way, ensuring a smooth and professional schedule without rushing or pressure. We saw many elementary school students learning at Dongzhao Temple, and also encountered many Russian tourists. Unfortunately, due to heavy fog and rain, we couldn't see the full view of Huangyan Waterfall, only hearing the loud roar of the water. The most memorable aspects for me were the tranquil lake, the beautiful environment, and the various national treasure-level buildings featured in the film, especially Longming Temple. A truly worthwhile trip!

Reviews: Tokyo Nikko world heritage tour | 1-day tour to Toshogu shrine + Lake Chūzenji + Kegon waterfalls
Guest User2026-10-28
I want to commend our tour guide, Dal, for his meticulous and thoughtful planning throughout the trip. He also reminded everyone to bring a warm coat! I almost froze to death in the October sun. As for the famous yuba (tofu skin), just order a soba noodle dish with tofu skin to try it out. My set meal cost 1700 yen, which made me question my life choices while eating it 😂 because the taste was just average! The sticky stuff in the bowl was green mountain vegetables; I'd seen it on a variety show before.

Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Nikko Autumn Foliage : Kegon Falls+Toshogu+Lake Chuzenji+Shinkyo Bridge Day Tour(From Tokyo)
Guest User2026-10-30
I wanted to see the autumn leaves in Nikko, but unfortunately many trees hadn't turned red yet; next week might be the best time to see them. Our guide, Juna, explained the history and cultural value of the sites clearly in both Chinese and English, and also arranged the itinerary well. Juna specifically arranged to visit Toshogu Shrine first, then Shinbashi Bridge, so we wouldn't have to climb the stairs from Shinbashi Bridge to Toshogu. We wanted to visit Tokugawa Ieyasu's mausoleum at Toshogu, which requires climbing 200 steps and then returning to the meeting point. If the order of visits were reversed, visiting Tokugawa Ieyasu's mausoleum would require climbing the stairs twice, which sounded exhausting.
