Five-star review! Today's half-day tour to Zhujiajiao exceeded my expectations. A special shout-out to our guide, Jenny Ye!
The group included both Chinese and international tourists, and Jenny provided fluent bilingual commentary throughout. She explained Zhujiajiao's history, water town features, and local snacks in detail and vividly, captivating our foreign friends. What was most heartwarming was her exceptional care for the domestic tourists, balancing the needs of both groups without favoritism. She was dedicated and responsible throughout, proactively reminding us of meeting times, recommending authentic local cuisine, and maintaining a well-paced itinerary. Her communication was patient and considerate. She skillfully managed both the English explanations for the international tourists and the thoughtful care for our own group, demonstrating both professionalism and warmth. A truly reliable bilingual guide, I would definitely choose Jenny again for my next local trip. Highly recommended!โ

Unfortunately, traveling solo ended up being more expensive because there wasn't a single-person option. Chinese portions are very large, and for two, that's a lot of food. I brought my own "taboo" and ate for three more days. ๐คฃ It's good to have a refrigerator in the room! The interior is interesting (there are two other locations, each different), and the food is delicious! But during Golden Week, there's a rush of tourists, so I had to wait almost four hours. There's a Madame Tussauds museum in the shopping center, which made waiting in the huge line a little easier. The staff is pleasant and helpful! If you reserve a table yourself, you can choose your favorite dishes.โ

The experience is 100% recommendable. It is a charming show, the acrobats are impeccable. You don't need to pick up tickets, just show the QR from the Trip voucher. It is a very convenient location too, just about 200 meters away from tge subway station "Shanghai Circus World", line 1.โ

My parents really enjoyed it. The quality of the performance was better than expected, and the food was delicious.
The portions were huge, so much so that we ended up leaving some behind towards the end.
Knowing that I was a foreigner, they were very kind and provided a lot of guidance in English. Although I couldn't understand English myself... I think it would be more comfortable for those who speak English.
The performance description appears in English at the top, but it would be better if there were a rough outline on a piece of paper beforehand, like a menu.
As a foreigner, I wanted to understand the plot beforehand so I could watch the performance.
Of course, even without knowing the storyline, it wasn't a problem to enjoy it! I would recommend it to my friends to visit when they go to Shanghai.โ
