A fantastic island excursion. There were only four of us, and we were able to choose between two islands for a 50-minute stopover. We received excellent information about the area, there were no queues – which was important to us – and the timing was perfect. If you want to see more, you can book additional tours later or take a water taxi to and from a preferred location.

Joao guided us very well through the afternoon, shared many interesting facts, and was truly pleasant to be around. To our delight, he spoke excellent Spanish. He was friendly, dedicated, and cheerful. We took the tour in a van and highly recommend it.

The excursion was very informative and showed us more of Portugal's culture. We had a lovely day. We would have liked more free time at some spots (strolling through the market, swimming in the riverbed in Alte, etc.). The pace was quite fast and there wasn't time for lunch. But it was a very nice trip away from the coast and into the interior.
