The staff were amazing .. Everything from checking in , to receiving our wetsuits and snorkel gear , to our safety briefing was top notch .. They are enthusiastic about the beautiful reef that you will visit .. The sea scooters make it easy to traverse the reef not generally reachable by ordinary snorkel .. There were 2 guides with our group of 6 , 1 to lead and 1 in the rear for safety .. They showed us many things that we would not otherwise have noticed on our own , such as octopus hiding in rocks .. The reef was very much alive with beautiful color and tropical fish .. After the outing , go to local institution Zeerovers restaurant on the water a few minutes away .. The menu is limited to just caught fish ( mahi and snapper the day that we visited ), and shrimp , all purchased by the pound … Hanging on to your sea scooters will wear you out and make you thirsty , so their large selection of ice cold beer and soft drinks were welcome … Go to Zeerovers immediately after your morning snorkel when the open at 11:00 b/c by the time that you leave there will be a line / wait to get in … Perfect snorkel adventure away from the catamarans with open bars … We snorkeled with a family with 2 children @ 12 / 14 , and the kids had no difficulty with the sea scooters
