I was a bit lost at the starting point, but thanks to the kindness of our guide, Seo Geum-bong, I was able to depart safely! It was so convenient to have a Korean guide. If you're worried about the language barrier, sign up without hesitation! Haha. Thank you so much for helping our family trip. We had a great time chatting about Japanese history and culture, and we were able to resolve our questions. The tour guide contacted very promptly, the route of the itinerary was reasonable, the choice of attractions was also very representative, very classic, and there was a suitable time to play after the attractions. 🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate
1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
→ Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
→ Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
→ Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
→ Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
→ Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800).
→ Touch the "Manjushri Wisdom Wheel" and spin it three times; legend says it will make you smarter!
