Corrado was an excellent and knowledgable guide who tailored the experience to what we were interested in seeing. He picked us up from our accommodation and made us feel comfortable from the start. The trip itself was amazing - Etna was incredible and the winery was special. If I could recommend one tour whilst in Scilly, it would definitely be this one!

Was a beautiful experience with Maria Rita and her husband Giuseppe they meet us right near the market unbelievable fresh produce, spices , fish and much more sampled some of the Sicilian street foods and Maria Rita explained a lot of the spices to us Then proceeded to their home where my wife and Maria made pasta. We then had a lovely lunch in their beautiful home. If you want to experience true Sicilian culture I would recommend this tour. I think few couples or a family would make it even more fun. Ciao

We had the chance to discover Ortigia with Letizia during a private tour combining historical anecdotes and gourmet tastings. Throughout the tour, we learned why the city is called Syracuse, how and why it was founded here, discovered that papyrus grows here (the only place in the world besides Egypt), and visited the exceptional cathedral—a former temple transformed into a remarkably well-preserved Christian place of worship. We also learned about the history of Saint Lucy, the meaning of the ceramic pine cones hanging from the balconies, and the legend of the famous ceramic Sicilian heads. Letizia punctuates the tour with anecdotes ranging from Antiquity to the present day, adapting perfectly to her visitors' needs. As for food, she knows everyone at the market and in the shops, which allowed us to sample things we would never have tried on our own: pistachios, almonds, sundried tomatoes, grilled fish, cured meats, cheeses, typical cheese and anchovy dishes, arancini, and fried pizza... Not to mention sweet treats like cassata Siciliana and other sweet specialties, all accompanied by wine, limoncello, and pistachio spread. A lively, generous, and friendly experience that we highly recommend!

Our party of four took a private Food and Cultural Tour of Ortigia with Letizia. She was excellent! Her passion for local foods and for Ortigia were infectious. She shared the rich history and cultural highlights of this beautiful island. We dipped into unique food shops, a papyrus workshop, and the street market. She also left us with wonderful restaurant recommendations. If we ever return, we'll definitely take one of her cooking classes!

What a fantastic food tour! We did the Ortigia Vegan Street Food Tour. It was the very first food tour in YEARS that I was actually full before it was over! Often it is small bites of food and you have to eat a meal after the tour. Not this one. The food was varied and delicious. Because Tania is willing to do small tours, she is open to the input of her clients and asked us - would you rather this or that...about food choices which was amazing. While neither of us are vegan (but very plant leaning) it was so nice not to have to worry about my food (dairy) allergy. I have just moved to Ortigia and this was a great tour to introduce me to several shops and restaurants I will want to frequent. Not only did she talk about the places we went, but she gave helpful tips for other places on the island as well. The best part (as if there could be more) is Tania's personality. She is kind and funny and it is clear all of the businesses really like collaborating with her. Now when I visit those same places, the owners and staff remember me and are welcoming to me and I am sure that is because of Tania! A great introduction to the island as a resident. I will be taking other friends on this tour!


