After our trek through part of the Tambopata National Reserve, it was great to get in a shared large canoe and drift/paddle towards the lake. We seen turtles, birds and even a red monkey. Very warm, peaceful and quiet morning trip.

Daniél made this day a relaxing and interesting nature experience for us. He showed us various species of monkeys and all sorts of interesting birds. The packed lunch (rice wrapped in leaves) was delicious, and we ate it at a cozy picnic spot. It lasted from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
