We did the distillery tour. We had a nice small group. The guide, Shaz, was entertaining and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour.

Hook-A-Barra is an absolute must-do! 😍 The staff are super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience unforgettable. We started with lunch, and oh man, the fresh fish and spring rolls with prawns were to die for 🍔. After lunch, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the barracuda tanks and a safety briefing, which was awesome. The real magic happened when we started fishing. Our kids, who had never fished before, were catching barracuda left and right thanks to the staff's amazing guidance 🎣. My six-year-old and eight year old caught their very first fish, and the smiles on their faces were priceless 😊.

Affordable, friendly, on time. We chose this economical way of travelling to the island. Departures on time. Interesting way of docking due to no wharf on island but still felt very safe un-boarding and re-boarding on Great Kepple. Island is NOT suitable for assisted mobility.

This was very much worth seeing, the staff were quite knowledgeable and friendly, the animals appeared well cared for, and the facility was laid out very well, it felt much larger than it is, but all the areas were very easy to walk to in a short time. We saw the snake and croc attack shows, and did the lagoon boat ride.

This tour was really educational about our local reef, sea wildlife and island knowledge. Very interesting to kids as well as adults. The tour guide Tilly and the young lady assisting were so informative, very helpful and overall lovely ladies. It was so good that I wish the tour could have been longer. We loved it and it’s one thing to add to your bucket list whilst visiting in yeppoon and surrounding areas. The ferry ride over we got to see whales which made our day special, everyone at freedom fast cats were polite and very helpful. I would love to do this again and bring the family.


