Amazing tour! Both the castle and the cave were once in a life time experience for us. I definetely recommend this tour for those who are travelling to Slovenia for a couple of days. It is just 1 hr drive from Ljubljana. It is not possible to understand the spectacularity of the cave from the photos, you need to experience it. You take a tour in the cave with a guide, first couple of km.s with a train and then walking. Very well organized tour. And thank you to our own guide who gave us lots of lots of information about the Slovenia.

Everything was perfect! Our guide, Mihael, was wonderful! He explained everything clearly and even spoke Portuguese! The places we visited were amazing, especially the cave!

We had a fantastic day, and David, our guide, was able to tell us a lot about the places we visited. He also took great care of everything, so we felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire excursion. The cave was very impressive, and visiting Piran in the crisp March sunshine with very few tourists was simply wonderful! I think I can wholeheartedly recommend this and other tours!

The castle is an absolute must-see if you visit Ljubljana. Perched on a hill, it towers over the city. You can reach it in several ways. There's a road leading to it, so you can drive. The tourist train also uses it and stops at the castle. There's a walking path for those who don't mind a brisk hike. Finally, there's the funicular, the cable car, which I chose to take. The castle is beautiful, and there's plenty to see and do. Of course, there are all the things you expect at a castle, but also surprising exhibitions. For refreshments, there are various venues, from a cafeteria, where the chocolate cake tasted heavenly, to a Michelin-starred restaurant. And of course, there are magnificent views. The castle is truly not to be missed.


