Everything works! Bangkok and Phuket have excellent connections! It's convenient—you don't have to remove your physical SIM card. We installed e-SIMs in advance, and upon arrival, you simply select the one you need and enable roaming on it. We've crossed Thailand several times, flying to other countries, and simply extended these SIM cards.★

It's very convenient; you don't have to mess around with swapping SIM cards, or even switching anything. We visited Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore, and everything worked without a hitch. We connected through the Trip app, without scanning a QR code. It worked for my husband and me (I have an iPhone, he has a Samsung). Be sure to enable "Data Roaming" in the settings.
