Reviews: South Korea 5G eSIM | ChatGPT Available | Day Pass/Total Data Package | 24-Hour Billing | QR Code

The signal and network speed are both great. I don't know how those negative reviews came about. I'm using an iPhone 17 Pro with this eSIM and the experience is excellent, including in Seoul. I also went to Busan and the signal was still great. The key is the affordable price. I'll definitely buy this again next time I go to Korea.

With data roaming turned on, I was connected the moment I got off the plane ^ ^ I chose one with a phone number just in case, but I was able to complete real-name verification without any problems. (Real-name verification can only be done after entering the country, and the link is at the bottom of the product page.) There were times when it was difficult to connect in crowded places like concert venues, but I think it's fine for normal sightseeing.

Easy to use with the one click install in the app. Worked after a phone reset upon landing. Unsure though how to monitor usage and expiry. Unsure how support would work if needed.

Reviews: [South Korea] LG U+ Combo Card | Unlimited 4G/5G SIM + T-money Transportation Card (from 3 days) | 1–90 Days | Pickup at Incheon, Gimpo, Gimhae Airports

I bought a 5G plan, but for some reason, my 5G-enabled phone only shows as 4G+ in Korea. I tried three phones: a Vivo showed 4G+, a Huawei showed 4G, and an iPhone 11 showed LTE. The 4G+ signal was very stable and sufficient, so I didn't contact customer service (the staff at the activation counter also didn't know why it wasn't showing 5G). When activating it at the LG U+ counter at the airport, the staff asked if I wanted to purchase more call minutes. I thought about it and decided not to, since I didn't need many. And indeed, I didn't need them; receiving calls and verification codes was enough. After inserting the data SIM card into my phone, I could top it up at the subway station. The design is very nice, much nicer than the regular T-Money cards sold in Korea.
