The Tang Dynasty show in Xi'an was a truly wonderful experience. The booking process was smooth and straightforward. When the show on our chosen date was cancelled, the organizer promptly contacted me via WhatsApp and helped me reschedule it for another date—everything was resolved quickly and easily.
The show itself was truly colorful and spectacular, with impressive costumes and beautiful music. It was a wonderful cultural experience and a wonderful addition to my Xi'an experience.★

That day, we first visited the Daming Palace Ruins Park, then walked to the Danfeng Gate Museum. After that, we crossed the street, passed Xi'an Railway Station, and walked for about five minutes to reach the Daming Palace Banquet Hall. Upon entering, all the staff were dressed in Tang Dynasty costumes, giving a feeling of traveling back in time. The dining environment was excellent, with both upstairs and downstairs sections. The upstairs section had the advantage of being cheaper and offering a good angle for taking photos. The portions of each dish were small, and I thought I wouldn't be full, but I ended up being quite full. The entertainment was continuous, keeping the atmosphere lively. It was a very good dining experience, and I took many photos.★

This is a stunning show, a must-see in Xi'an (surprisingly, there's little information about it online in both Russian and English). It's easy to get to the theater by metro (it's a 10-15-minute walk from the metro station) or by taxi. Inside, I recommend bringing a translator headset (the staff found me in the crowd and offered it). It's free, but you'll need to leave a deposit, which will be returned after the performance. The translator provides information before each act and greatly simplifies understanding what's happening on stage (the show itself is only in Chinese; there are no subtitles on the screens).★

JiaJia is a fantastic guide. Her English is excellent. She's always smiling, and the tour is very personal. The tour we took included food. We had way too much to eat (we couldn't finish it all). The tour focuses exclusively on food. The neighborhood is lovely. JiaJia took photos for us. A bit pricey for what it is.★
