These places are only accessible by day tours, by self-driving, hiring a car, or renting a vehicle.
The Japanese countryside is beautiful, and the scenery along the way is stunning! You can see volcanoes and autumn rice paddies. These past few days have been filled with blue skies and white clouds—so soothing!
Autumn in Furano is breathtaking!
The tour guide was excellent! A bilingual guide in Chinese and English, plus Japanese to communicate with locals.
There were so many tourists from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea at these places!
I must say, the Japanese are incredibly punctual! They always depart on time!★

A day trip is perfect for independent travelers, allowing you to visit 5 attractions in one day. It's hard to imagine how difficult it would be to get there without transportation. A day trip is worry-free and effortless, and I highly recommend it. The tour guide was probably Taiwanese, surnamed Chen, and was very polite and attentive to all your needs.Trip.com picks
