We booked this separately from the island tour we were on and before we arrived in Sri Lanka. Communication was first class and we were collected from our hotel for a small charge. The ethos behind Back of Beyond, who run the night walks, is excellent, and they also educate school children from the area and train local guides. After a welcome drink at the lovely cafe, we received an excellent briefing before going on the walk, where we were delighted to spot 4 Slender Loris. While we were staying in the area we did another nocturnal Loris walk with a different provider and it wasn’t a patch on this one. Overall this was excellent value, top service and a very worthy cause, 100% recommended!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Communications good throughout on the day and before. Guide was very polite and informative. Great English. Safari itself had lots of animals/birds so very happy overall. I'd recommend the 1300 as it's cooler for you and the animals!

We had such a wonderful time at Sajee’s cooking class! We learnt so much about Sri Lankan cuisine and had the chance to make 7 different, absolutely delicious dishes. Sajee and his wife Suzy were fantastic teachers, sharing their knowledge and making the whole experience fun and informative. We felt so at home and loved every minute. We can’t wait to try out all the recipes when we get home and bring the Sri Lankan flavours into our own kitchen. We couldn’t recommend this class highly enough — an amazing experience for anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

I spend a really good time with Sajee and him wife. They explain to you all the ingredients and the step for cook them, in a quiet space and nice kitchen. I recommend this cooking class, wish is a really nice experience :)

Such an amazing experience. Kumara and Thanuja were so welcoming. We loved everything that this family are doing and we take our hats off to all their hard work. Everything is home grown and organic. Kumara showed us their garden and taught us all about the different spices. The food was delicious and cooking it together was great fun! Thank you so much.
