The mine is impressive. The visit to the monastery is correct, if you want to take photos inside the church you have to pay 10ron.

Reviews: From Bucharest: Slănic Salt Mine & Peleș Castle Day Trip
Guest User2026-10-08
A tour of the castle's interior takes about an hour, and the explanations are simple and easy to understand, but there's still a 10-20 minute queue to get in; it's not completely queue-free. The salt mine itself doesn't have many highlights, but its overall scale is quite impressive; you take a shuttle bus down to the bottom of the mine.

Reviews: Bucharest: Dracula's Tomb, Salt Mine & Snagov Monastery Tour
Guest User2026-10-04
The excursion was especially beautiful and enjoyable, and this was all thanks to our guide, Andreea. We were so lucky to have her! There were four of us, and only I understood a little English, but my companions didn't understand any at all. So I asked Andreea if she could translate the most interesting or important parts of the tour into Spanish so we wouldn't miss too much. And she was incredibly attentive, translating everything and explaining everything with such warmth and professionalism. I only have words of gratitude for her because I know that the experience of this tour wouldn't have been the same if I had only spoken English. So thank you, Andreea, for your patience and your great effort. These are the small, yet significant gestures that make people great. A huge hug from four Galicians in Bucharest ❤️
