My first impression was that it was very convenient. There was a WOWPASS machine in the basement of the hotel I booked, and it also allowed direct exchange of Hong Kong dollars. I tried it three times, and one of the exchange rates was better than at a money exchange. However, please note that the maximum withdrawal is 100,000 Korean won, and there is a 1,000 Korean won fee for each withdrawal. The card is valid for 6 years from the date of issuance, and the WOWPASS balance on the card automatically extends the validity period by 6 years from the last date of use.

Great story! I bought a pass for myself and my daughter. It motivates us to see a lot, and it's a real savings if you spend the whole day exploring. Much better than the Busan pass (I didn't really like that one). If you're planning an active vacation and are good with maps to navigate from place to place, go for it. It's a useful thing!
