I installed it using the free airport Wi-Fi after arriving in Taiwan. The SIM name was "trip". I used the 2GB per day plan, which was sufficient for just maps and searches. I also went to the city of Keelung, and it worked without any problems. I was able to communicate even in train stations and underground. Since it doesn't have a phone number, you can't use SMS, so if you're going to rent a bicycle, choose a SIM with a phone number.

The 100GB/day plan cost around 700 yen for four days, which was very affordable, and being able to use Google Maps while traveling by taxi was extremely helpful. Because I was using an Android device, I had to manually create the APN, but I was relieved to be able to connect to the internet immediately upon arrival in Taipei.

I highly recommend this hotel. The guy at the reception, Huanyabei, was very polite and helpful with everything. He even remembered where I lived. There were also a lot of gifts. Overall, the service was very pleasant. I recommend it to everyone. Good afternoon.

I bought a 30-day 4G plan and it's now my second day! The signal is excellent in places like the Taipei MRT, the Taipei Underground, and department store basements – absolutely no complaints. I was initially worried because the 30-day plan didn't include 5G, but there have been no problems at all. This site was the cheapest compared to others, so I highly recommend it…🫡

Setting up the eSIM was as easy as pressing a button on the Trip.com smartphone app. I was able to use the network immediately after switching it at the airport upon departure and arrival. It was much easier than mobile Wi-Fi because there was no need to pick up or return anything. I would definitely choose this again next time.
