It was a truly wonderful day trip; the Similan Islands are a must-see when in Thailand. The tour guides were very cheerful and friendly, which only made the tour better. Unfortunately, lunch was already cold when we received it. The transport from Patong takes about 2.5 hours, so it's a very long journey, which is something to keep in mind. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

A super relaxing trip. No crowds, just plenty of space on the boat. Good food on board too. I would definitely prefer it to a speedboat where you're crammed in and can barely see out, even if it's significantly more expensive. Luckily, they moved the Chinese group (with a few odd characters) to another boat.

Exactly our kind of thing; there were three of us plus a guide. A short stop in the jungle and then another at a small waterfall. Otherwise, great quad biking, sometimes wild and fast. At the end, they airdropped a few pictures just for fun.

KES was the clear ethical choice out of a lot of tour guides offering sanctuary visits. The elephants appeared very well looked after while being able to roam free if they choose. No bathing or riding is allowed.


